What to do in Miami Beach

Will be first time in Miami Beach Loews Hotel, early January. Any advice what to do. We are a couple late 50%26#39;s.

How does one transfer from Miami airport. We will not be driving.

What to do in Miami Beach

There%26#39;s lots to do in South Beach (the most southern two miles of Miami Beach) - and the good thing is you can walk to everywhere from your hotel.

Walk Lincoln Road mall for fun places to eat and great people watching.

South Beach has some GREAT restaurants - they are not cheap but some great food and fun people watching.

Getting to Loews from the Miami Airport is very easy. Right outside the airport%26#39;s Baggage Claim is a taxi stand. Tell the nice man working there you need a cab to Loews and he%26#39;ll take it from there. These guys work for the city and won%26#39;t accept tips.

The taxi cab ride is fixed at US$32 plus tip and that includes all tolls.

You don%26#39;t need or want a rental car as I mentioned earlier, you can walk to everywhere or if too far to walk, taxi cabs are everywhere.
