just got my travel documentations for 20th dec flying from heathrow i have electronic tickets can i book my seats on line 24hours before this is the first time we have ever had them.

They all seem to be electronic tickets these days. I was very disappointed when i got a piece of paper through rather than a ticket...doesnt feel the same.

When I booked tickets I also booked the seat, if You are a memeber of frequent flyer, one pas etc You can be that if you look up at the airline ref number on your ticket then go to manage my booking, get the flight and click on the seats you want. I think You can do this now. Try to do it and see what happens, and call the airline if You get problems with managing .

You can book online.

You will need your flight ref which I always find trouble locating in amongst all the numbers listed with the electronic flight tickets.

With United, you should be able to select your seats ahead of time, if you haven%26#39;t already. Go back to their website and enter your flight information and confirmation number and it should pull up the available seats.

You might have to register with them, I know that%26#39;s what I had to do and give them an email address, but it%26#39;s pretty straightforward.

They also allow online check in and you can print your boarding passes and tags ahead of time so it%26#39;s not such a mad rush at the airport.
