Alright, I love Help Yourself. At the corner of Margaret and Fleming, it%26#39;s all natural with HUGE, two-person sized portions, and they have the one of the best lattes I have ever had in my life: Made with homemade coconut milk from local coconuts!
Help Yourself has been an immediate ';hit'; since it opened two months ago. I eat there (and Bad Boy Burrito) just about everyday. Since they two place deliver, I can be working on a computer project or website, and still be properly satiated.
But both are open six days a week, and (noticeably) closed one day a week, on Sunday. But this week something new kicks off. Not only is Help Yourself open Sundays (yea), but a genuine Farmer%26#39;s Market is now being hosted on location!
According to the website:
';All produce sold will be organic and come from Florida and most from the Homestead region. The market will begin at 9am until we run out of produce so come early to make sure you get some pickings! The restaurant will be open from 9am to 4pm.
';It is still early in the growing season here in Florida and we won鈥檛 always know what we are getting until the beginning of that week and it will vary depending on the weather and what is growing well.
';This week we do have a selection of lettuces, green beans, zucchinis, lemon grass, pickling cucumbers, avocados, grapefruit, oranges and tangerines.
';We will start off small with the aim that as the weeks go by and the produce flourishes the market will follow. We are asking for people that grow anything such as fruit, vegetables, herbs, that would like to have a spot at the market or to sell their items, to contact us at 296 7766 or email Charlie at charlie@helpyourselffoods.com. We are also looking for people that make and bake things.';
So there you have it! If you happen to be on island, this is a terrific opportunity to pick up some regional and even local produce and goods.

Mike, thanks for the heads up! I love a Farmer%26#39;s Market, and this one sounds like it is going to be great. Bonus, it%26#39;s only a few blocks from where I live. I%26#39;ll pass the word!!
