Bay Vista Drive area, Kissimmee

Hello i was just wondering could anyone tell me if they have stayed in this area and what it is like, we will be staying at a villa in it just after christmas time

Bay Vista Drive area, Kissimmee

I%26#39;m familiar with the area and also before I moved to FL 10 years ago I stayed in a vacation home exactly in this location... and also my uncle owns a vacation home close by there.

It%26#39;s quiet but very close to stuff. You%26#39;ll be just across from the %26#39;give kids the world%26#39; village and some little fire training park (for kids on school trips I think).

Other than that it%26#39;s just a residential neighborhood.

You%26#39;re just off Bass Rd, and you will need a car from this location. You%26#39;re a 2 minute drive to Walmart, don%26#39;t even have to get onto 192. Steak and shake is just across the intersection for 192/Bass Rd, good food comparable to Perkins, Denny%26#39;s IHOP etc (open 24 hours). You%26#39;re very close to medieval times too.

Personal opinion, when venturing out you%26#39;re going to take Bass Rd to 192, you should ';mostly'; make a left on 192. There are a few things you can get to by making a right onto 192, restaurants etc but the further down you go the worse it gets, so trust me, better to be always making a left onto 192.

You%26#39;ll find every chain restaurant known along 192, spend a few nights at Old Town as you%26#39;re only 10 minutes down the road. Old town is better on Friday, Saturday nights at 9pm watch the car show.

Also with your location if you enjoy flea markets there%26#39;s one close by.

Thanks Ladyemm, yes we have hired out a car and i will take your advice and turn right onto 192, dont want to be going into any rough areas. I cant wait now it is only 5 weeks till we go and now we have the park tickets and villa all sorted, the excitement has started. Thats great there is alot of places to eat near us, we have booked cirque de soliel, it got better reviews than medieval times, i think it was actually yourself who told me where the best seats were. Well thanks for filling me in

should have said i will take a left onto 192!!!!!!!!!!!

lol yes a LEFT!

Really you can go right if you want, it%26#39;s just noticeably more run down and really less appealing things to do/see there.

If you planned on going to the beach (cocoa) then you%26#39;d go right on 192 until you hit water (about an hour or so)

Also to the right is the St Cloud Flea and Farmers Market (about 20 mins) just past the turnpike on the left. there is a flea market closer to you but imo it%26#39;s not as good.

Cirque you should sit in the ';B'; category, A can strain your neck, C can cut off the sides ;) Cirque is much better than Medieval times but Medieval Times is big and will become your ';landmark'; for knowing you%26#39;re close. That and the Walmart.

I remember back there there%26#39;s a little river/creek with signs that say ';do not feed the gators'; that was a big novelty when I was a teen on vacation here.

Yes we have booked category B, i think we our tickets are some row in 205 area. Thanks for all your info. Roll on the next 5 weeks

Find your seats :)

Section 205 is a good one
