Hi - I%26#39;m trying to figure out how to best get from the Orland Airport to the Polynesian for our upcoming visit. I understand that we can take the Magical Express shuttle free of charge - I was wondering how other%26#39;s experiences has been with the shuttle? Is it reasonably efficient or is there a lot of waiting around? What is the avg. door to door time? We will be arriving on a Sunday morning.
For around $100 RT we could book a town car through Tiffany%26#39;s. I was leaning towards this option since it will be a brief stay (3 nights) and we wanted to maximize our time in the park...but if the shuttle is not much longer, I%26#39;m sure the $100 could be better spent somewhere else!! Only other factor is that the towncar will make a grocery stop, potentially saving $ of drinks %26amp; snacks.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Your experiences: Magical Express vs. Towncar Service
You can use magical express and have your groceries delivered. The money saved can go towards the groceries. Not having to shop will give you more time in the parks.
Magical express was fast. I thought it was less time then renting a car. You will also save time by not having to pick up your luggage.
We loved using Magical express.
Your experiences: Magical Express vs. Towncar Service
Thanks for the tip TheMacsfiveplus1.
Who delivers groceries? Is there a service?
Sorry to butt in but do you know if tiffanys do a stretched limo service?
Im still looking for one that someone has used and would recommend
Yes, they have an 8 paggenger stretch - rates and info here:

I have not used tiffany before, but was recommended by the unofficial guide to disney and also by several folks in this forum.
www.gardengrocer.com is one of the website. Some on here know of others.
Thank you...another web-site added to the list!!!
We used Happy limo%26#39;s in January and they were fantastic. I think we paid around $120 (plus tip!!) for one way from Sanford to I Drive. It was such a magical way to start the holiday. The limo was great. When it arrived it had Shrek 3 on for the kids and there were plenty of cans of soft drinks which were appreciated after a long flight. The kids loved pouring their drinks into the glass champagne flutes!!
Forgot to say - we had a stretch limo!!!
We have used Magical Express Many times and find it quite nice and have never waited very long. The time you save at baggae claim is a nice perk.
We have also used tiffanytowncars many times and the Service is quite reliable. Not sure you will save much time tho. As far as Drinks and snacks go, if you get a refillable mug at the Poly you won%26#39;t need to buy drinks and there are plenty of options for Snacks there also
I%26#39;d go with the Town Car-and Tiffany is great,we have used them several times. The Magical Express is free and that%26#39;s nice but it is not all that fast and when you leave, they want you at the airport 2-3 hours(depending on time of year) before your plane departs. It%26#39;s a nice airport but we don%26#39;t want to spend that much time there. The driver of the town car will help you with your luggage,do a grocery stop-much less hassle. Time is money at Disney World!
It depends on when you are going. When the parks are busy, Magical Express is busy, which often means longer waits for buses and luggage.
Personally, I prefer to spend the $100 for a town car. Not because I think the ME is bad or even faster, but I%26#39;d rather start my vacation off in a nice private car direct to the hotel. Also, by collecting my own luggage, I know it actually made it to Orlando!
We used Tiffany this last trip and were very happy with them. The driver was 5 mins late, but had called (my phone had been off for the plane trip, forgot to turn it on) and was early for the return trip. We booked ours through the Poly Concierge, it was $95 r/t (plus gratuity). I did have to make a flight change and the person on their phone was not exactly little miss happy, but hey, they showed up.
