Fish Sandwich

This is our second trip to Destin. Decided to try Fudpuckers for lunch on Nov. 15. They have a lunch menu 7 days a week. We decided to order the fish sandwich. Durning lunch time hours you can choose a soup or salad to replace the regular french fries that are served. We each chose a soup I had the Gumbo(delicious) and my daughter chose the Squash Crab Soup, which was good. The fish Mahi Mahi sandwich was the best that we have had in Destin.

Fudpuckers is a little pricey for dinner...but the atmosphere fun.

Good place to take kids.

Well, we all have opinions on food and restaurants and mine is at the extreme opposite end of the spectrum for Fuds food than your.

I%26#39;ve eaten fish sands in just about every restaurant in Destin including Fuds and I can assure you that the fish is frozen there, please don%26#39;t make me prove it.

both the boathouse and dewey%26#39;s were closed today at lunch, but the oysters at the acme were first rate, and gumbo from harry t%26#39;s chock gull of seafood. i%26#39;m going to wait out the boatgouse i think, and will periodicly check dewey%26#39;s just in case. bumper crop of cats down that way so if they are still hanging around i may as well too.

I am heading down next week I hope they are not closed for the season! I have been drooling over fresh seafood for a month !

i%26#39;m dying to try stinnky%26#39;s gumbo. frasnkly i can%26#39;t see much purpose in going back destin way, as everything seems to be open up here. of course i have known to drive for good bbq, 900 miles one time, but it was worth it.
