I have been researching the best place to stay off site of Disney.
We will be there in March , a family of 6. Four children under 10. My husband is retired military, however the suites are already booked on Disney at Shade of Green. They wanted to put all of in one room, not with a 2 1/2 year old. : )
We will be in Orlando for 5 days and will have a rental car. Please help me , needs suggestions for a mid price hotel.
The Holiday Inn Nickelodeon looks interesting, but reviews are iffy. Seems like there is a resort fee?
The Sheraton%26#39;s price is good , but reviews iffy also.
The Doubletree is in our price range, anyone stay there recently?
I have used the search function : )
Any thoughts , ideas needed.

Cypress Pointe resort. Near to DTD, and walkking distance to tons of things for evenings in.
You can get away with a 2 bed 2 bath condo with full kitchen and Washer dryer as there is a sofa bed. I%26#39;d go for the three bed- I do with 5 of us.
The Doubletree at Downtown Disney is great and they give you fresh cookies when you check in. We also like the Staybridge Suites LBV and the REsidence Inn LBV. But we do like the cookies too.
There are few Deals available at Area Suite Hotels at www.wdwinfo.com and click on Orlando Hotels. Most a within a few miles of Disney.
There is also a Disney Resort Deal right now that includes a Free $200 gift Card, that could help off-set the room price. The All Star Music Suites may fit the bill. 2 standard rooms at any of the Value Resorts or the Cabins at Fort Wilderness are also available. The Deal is buy 4 get 3 free but you don%26#39;t ';Have To'; stay 7 nights. For more info www.mousesavers.com/packages.html#fairytale
I would pick the Doubletree over the Nick :)
