Key West Harbor Inn

Has anyone stayed in any of the queen rooms on the second floor? How many steps? We are thinking of staying there and know if gets good reviews all the time. You can%26#39;t see what room you will book online.

We%26#39;ve stayed in a couple of them. One was the St Thomas room. There are probably 8-10 steps from the first floor.

We stayed there about two months ago and really enjoyed the property. The room was very nice. Comfortable bed, easy chair, closet, wet bar and dresser. The room itself is a bit smaller than most, but that did not bother us at all, as we usually just use our room as a place to shower, change and sleep. The ceilings are very high, so nothing feels cramped.

As far as how many steps up to the second floor, there are maybe ten or twelve (about three to a landing, then up nine or ten more to the top). It%26#39;s not bad at all, but if you have concerns, be aware that there is no elevator.

The garden is lush and the pool inviting. They do not allow children, so it is usually quiet.

The two things we liked the most about the property were the daily happy hour--premium beer, wine and spirits at no cost (except for tips-please take care of the staff), and the location. You are literally steps from the historic seaport.

We highly recommend KWHI and will definitely stay there again on a future trip.

Hope this was helpful!

We%26#39;ve stayed there several times. Couldn%26#39;t tell you the room names, but one time it%26#39;s one of the rooms on the 2nd floor using the inside stairs. We also have stayed in the room to the immediate right on the porch on a couple occasions. Both rooms were very nice, comfortable, clean, etc. Would highly recommend, especially the location - only steps (I mean steps) from the Seaport, Conch Republic, and Kermit%26#39;s and a couple blocks from Duval.

Thanks everyone. We are booked at the Key West Harbor Inn in the St Thomas Room. After talking with them, the place sounds wonderful and we we can%26#39;t wait.
