South Beach Hotel Help. AdvisorGirl or anyone else

Hi,

Towards the end of Feb 2009 I am looking for two rooms for one night. We are looking at Feb 28 (Sat) and checking out March 1st. I know a lot of places have 2 night mins but we can only do one night due to the other couples schedule. AdvisorGirl, you have been a great help in the past I was hoping you might have some ideas. We do not want to spend an arm and a leg and a pool is not important. We just want something safe and economical. The other couple has never been to South Beach so we are going to drive over from Fort Myers and spend sometime just enjoying the area. Any ideas on an inexpensive hotel?? Thanks.

I know some places have started this 2-night thing which is - annoying.

Check rates online at Century, St Augustine, Crest, Kent, Cadet, or even a fun guest house called SobeYou which I believe has parking too!
