Discovery Cove on this Sat.

The forecast says that Orlando will be sunny with the lowest temperature 57 and highest 69F on this coming Saturday. Although I know that the pools would be heated and the wet suits will be provided, I%26#39;m still not sure if it would be a little cold for me to visit this place at this time of the year. Any advice?

A 70 degree day is probably not the best one to visit Discovery Cove on, but it should be reasonably do-able. Back in my surfing days, I went out when it was in the 40s, 50s, and 60s. With a wet-suit on and doing a lot of paddling for waves, I was nice and toasty warm. You鈥檒l probably get less exercise, but at least the water won鈥檛 be 55 degrees. The one thing I鈥檇 be a little concerned about is feet. Cold feet are almost worse than a cold body and I always wore booties. Given the choice between a wet-suit and booties, I鈥檇 take the booties. Either way, it鈥檚 been unusually code around here for about the past month and I don鈥檛 see any gripes about it in the DC review pages. I鈥檓 sure you鈥檒l be fine. If it really were to cold, I%26#39;d expect they wouldn%26#39;t even open the park.

Hello tiger,

You%26#39;ll be fine, we went in December and it was chilly but stayed plenty warm in our wetsuits along with the salt water warm water we were plenty warm. Go and enjoy!

Thank you all for your replies. I appreciate it. I guess I will give it a try.

Just be glad you booked it after a nice warm-up from earlier this week. Just think how cold it was with air temps in the 40s.
