If you%26#39;re only staying 3 days, I would decide which parks you%26#39;d like to visit. If you want to visit Universal only, then chose a hotel that has free shuttle service (or one of the Universal hotels, w/in walking distance) and just do Universal. If you want to visit Disney only, then I%26#39;d chose an on-property hotel so you can take advantage of their free transportation. I wouldn%26#39;t try to fit in both parks as it%26#39;ll be too much for the 3 days and the savings on the passes will be negated as you%26#39;ll be buying a lot of one-day, one-park passes.

If you chose Disney, be sure to make your dining reservations ASAP!

Hey.. thanks a lot. By the way which one is a must see? Universal or disney ? could u please suggest a water park too.. we were thinking of any 2 disney parks + seaworld.. We have a hotel reservation with free shuttle to universla and all 4 disney theme parks..

Let%26#39;s get things in perspective here, you would be lucky to see all of the parks properly in Orlando if you stayed 3 weeks,in 3 days you are only going to scratch the surface,don%26#39;t be too ambitious.

I%26#39;m much more a fan of Disney rather than Universal, but that%26#39;s just my opinion. I know others drastically prefer Universal.

I know more about Disney, so I%26#39;ll talk about that :) I would personally go to the Magic Kingdom since you haven%26#39;t been there before. It may seem kid-ish, but there%26#39;s nothing more ';Disney'; than the Magic Kingdom. Then I%26#39;d do Epcot for your two parks. Epcot is much more adult-oriented and has some excellent places for eating, either Table Service or Counter. If you decide not to do SeaWorld and do a water park, there%26#39;s 2 on Disney property, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Typhoon Lagoon however, is under rehab during your stay, so that leaves Blizzard Beach as your only choice. Here%26#39;s a link to the Disney Park Hours: www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dec08.cfm鈥?/a>

My final suggestion is that if you want to do Disney, you need to make your reservations for dining if you plan on doing table service. For the Magic Kingdom day, I would recommend Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree Tavern if you want to do a character meal. If not, I would look at the resort restaurants like O%26#39;Hana and Kona (both at the Poly) for something middle of the road. If you want a nice dinner, I would recommend Narcoossee%26#39;s, Citricos (both at the Grand Floridian) or California Grill. I believe Narcoossee%26#39;s and CG has a dress code, so you probably would need to change in between.

For Epcot, there%26#39;s lots right in Epcot, so it depends on what kind of food you like. I would go with Tepan Edo (Japan), or Chefs de France. If you want to visit the Boardwalk Resort which is right out the back of Epcot (walking distance) I would recommend Spoodles.

For what it is worth, I think that Epcot and Seaworld are a great choice. There are a few things in the Magic Kingdom that I am sure you would enjoy but it is truly geared for little kids. Also keep in mind that it is a little cool here now, so you won%26#39;t want to really spend a lot of time on Blizzard Beach.

If you%26#39;re looking for thrill rides Universal%26#39;s Islands of Adventure will be your best bet. If you want that Disney feel go to the Magic Kingdom. We like Epcot best because of the balance of mildish thrill rides and all of the other types of entertainment (shopping, dining, edutainment, etc.) they offer. The kids (grown) had a blast trying out the Segways (free) and I really enjoy the drinks and nibbles in Epcot%26#39;s World Showcase.

My 20 something kids also enjoyed an evening out at City Walk.

Sorry but as a Disney fan if you are going to Orlando you have to do the Magic Kingdom,I%26#39;d turn round the comment that it%26#39;s for kids into everybody feels like a kid when they enter there!

Our input would be Animal Kingdom and Epcot plus Seaworld. A nice mix. Don%26#39;t need to push too hard to see a lot and have variety. Food choices are many, but you can pick on site and save money if you don%26#39;t always do sit down but some counter service. Enjoy!!

I think I would spend at least one day at Universal. In my opinion, Universal is best geared toward young adults. You can visit both parks for about the price of one.

Disney is aiming more toward the people with families. That%26#39;s not to say you wouldn%26#39;t like it, but just in general I%26#39;d say its designers had families in mind. If you want to visit Disney for nostalgia or pixie dust or whatever, I would go for Magic Kingdom since it pretty much embodies the essence of Disney. I would take Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom off the list. The best thing about HS are the two thrill rides, but Universal has better thrill rides. The best thing about Animal Kingdom are the animals, but SeaWorld and Busch Gardens both have better animal exhibits. But I would consider Epcot. Epcot is more of a ';mature'; park. There%26#39;s a lot of walking around and soaking in the atmosphere involved. There%26#39;s a lot of great restaurants as well, and a few great rides but not many.

If you like animals I recommend SeaWorld. Busch Gardens is also great, but it%26#39;s in Tampa so probably too much for a 3 day trip.

Personally if I were coming on a 3 day trip, my must sees would be: Magic Kingdom, Universal, and SeaWorld.
