We are planning a Fla beach vacation in the summer of 2009 with our kids 15 %26amp; 13. After hours of searching, I have looked at the keys, Sanibel %26amp; Indian Rocks. I%26#39;m leaning toward Indian rocks at either Oceanside, Oceanway or Casa de Playa. I like the smaller condo complexes on the beach. Don%26#39;t want a huge place! Does anyone have any advice on any of these places or anything that may be similar in the area---not locked into Indian Rocks but seems like our best option.
Thanks!

My family is going the June of %26#39;09 and considering the same condos. Leaning towards Casa De Playa becuase it looks closet to the water which I like. Copy and paste address for some pictures of the units.

FYI, Casa de Playa is not closer to the beach than the other two. They are all direct beachfront.
Yes they are all beachfront ... I said closest to the water not beach.
If you like smaller properties that are less crowded there are some Superior Small Lodging choices in Indian Rocks Beach. Gulfside Resorts, they have 3 private properties that are not condos, each property with a pool and beachfront.
IUHoosierDaddy: The government-mandated Coastal Construction Line dictates how close properties may be built to the water. Nobody ';on the beach'; in Indian Rocks Beach is significantly closer to the water than anyone else. The beach width is uniform.
Whatever ... let me rephrase. Casa De Playa is in my opinion closer (50 ft or so) to the water per Google world maps and has less sea oats between the condo and the beach/water than Oceanway/Oceanside.
Upon further review Chatelaine is correct ... all three condos are directly on the beach and equal distances to the water. I apologize for being misleading.
Oceanway and oceanside have hot tubs and Casa De Playa does not if that is an important amenity to you.
