It%26#39;s really a $49 gift card that we%26#39;ll probably use to order pix. The only way I%26#39;m getting in one of those things is under heavy sedation ;-)

I have thought of booking this for my husband as a surprise. My problem is fitting it in.

Yup, anniversary. Scott won%26#39;t ever buy himself things like this. When I asked him what he wanted for Christmas he asked for some sort of power tool. I%26#39;ll let my parents give him that. I, personally, would be thoroughly p*ssed if I got some sort of work implement for a present. Oooh, look, a new iron, yippee!

We used to do Secret Santa with Scott%26#39;s family. One year his oldest brother and I ended up with each other%26#39;s names. I found a watercolor by a local artist of an old building near where they grew up. I bought it and framed it myself. He gave me a mailbox. It wasn%26#39;t even assembled. One year one of them forgot me completely and tried to write me a check right there next to the Christmas tree. I%26#39;ve got me some strange in-laws.

the recession discounts are now coming thick and fast.

Not so sure, this deal could also be because they are adding indy cars to drive on the track. Maybe the stock cars want to be sure they get bookings too and do not loose them to the indy cars.

It%26#39;s 8:00 am for the you drive, every day except, I think, Tuesday and Thursday. That lasts 3 hours. There%26#39;s a ride-along (the $49 one) that you don%26#39;t need to book ahead. It sounded like you can just show up for that one. I might be wrong about that though. I know Scott and he%26#39;ll want to drive that baby so I didn%26#39;t look into the ride-along.

My husband too, he would want to drive. The 49.00 gift card, not sure if I would get in the car either. I will have to look into it again.
