Floridays or springhill suites

Hi planning a trip to orlando for xmas has anyone stayed at either of these resorts,can you please tell me what you thought as im not sure which to go for.

We stayed in Springhill Suites last June Loved it. Going back to orlando this Christmas. We are renting a villa in Windsor hills. Great value. You should look into it. We haven%26#39;t done it before but its cheaper and its nearer the Disney parks than I Drive

Thanks for the reply,We were actually thinking of a villa at the start,the idea of having your own pool is great and they are all gorgeous its just the having to drive really that put us off a bit nervous of driving over there so the shuttle buses in the hotels are handy.

Can%26#39;t compare between the two, but we just returned on Sunday from Floridays and had a wonderful time. Everyone was nice, rooms were comfortable and nicely equipped and the pools were great. Our room in building F was far from the main pool with youngsters in tow, but we just drove to the pool.

Stayed at the Springhill Suites Universal Blvrd. Just 5 mins walk from International Drive. Free Shuttle to Disney Parks and The I Trolley was available fro Sea World and Universal, so you did not need Taxis or Car hire. Family of Five we had a great time, so much so we have booked to go back March 09

IV2007, i%26#39;m not sure but i don%26#39;t think Floridays do transport so you might have to drive or take public transport. You might want to double check if driving is an issue. Springhill was one of the hotels we looked at before opting for Homewood and it certainly looked very nice.
