Fishing in Destin area

We are going for our honeymoon. Would like to charter, but since there are only 2 of us, wondering how hard it would be to get a crew going this late in september. Are there any public walk on boats that we just pay per person? would like an all day one. any rental boats out there?

And how about night life and restaurants?

we are staying at the candlewood in destin. wondering about kayak rentals too, any advise for some big fishing couple? thanks!

Fishing in Destin area

We are the World%26#39;s Luckiest Fishing Village.

You can walk the harbor and find boats looking to fill private charters. They are much more expensive but you catch a lot more big fish.

You can surf fish along the beach or under the bridges or along the jettys, they are easily accessible.

The Kayak Experience on the harbor has nice fiberglass yaks you can rent or any number of pontoon boat rental places offer the cheap plastic sitontop yaks. I fish out of my yak in the bayous and the bay, it is a blast!

Down on the Harbor there is AJ%26#39;s, Harry T%26#39;s, and all the other new places for night life and of course Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin has quite a bit of nightlife options as well!
