net 10 phones
Hi was just wondering why you need a net 10 phone and what is it? Is it too expensive to use your mobile in America, just wondering if I%26#39;ll need one
Thanks
net 10 phones
@cherrylips:
check your provider%26#39;s website. Expect to pay something like 拢1 per minute for outgoing calls, and 70-80p per minute for incoming calls, while you are in the US. So, yes, it IS expensive. More detail about Net10 here http://www.net10.com
@ electo - the ONLY place I%26#39;ve ever seen Net10 on sale is in a Walmart store. Surprised if they no longer carry them. Be wary of any retailer on I-Drive; there is a high probability that they will mislead you into buying something that may not be such a good deal. Other possible sources (I don%26#39;t know for sure) are Best Buy and Circuit City, both of which can be found close to the Florida Mall.
hi
it way to expencive to you my moble over there at 0.99p a minute
the net 10 phones are about $30 to 50 with credit allready on them
we will be using them to keep in touch in the parks and to call home to i think its only 5c a min to call the uk and 3c to call other net 10 phones
plus i dont want to take my phone with me coz iam on holiday LOL
Good point, cos if someone is texting or calling you it would probably cost you money too!
Thanks for the tip.

You can, of course, order on line and get free shipping to the nearest Wal-Mart store to where you are staying.
When I went in July I looked on Walmart%26#39;s website to see that the Net 10 was only to be bought online. however when I got to Walmart in Daytona Beach there were loads of them!!
There was even a sale whereby you got free kit with the actual phone all for 30 dollars. - but I had seen that only after I had bought mine - doh!
Be aware that you pay for service days combined with minutes. I think you get 30 or 60 service days then the phone is no good - ok for your one off holiday. I bought the $60 pack once the $30 was added and now I have 180 days plus what was left on the original 30 days. So I have plenty of minutes when I go back in November.
You can%26#39;t dial direct to UK but you have to go through a menu, but the cost is way cheaper than a UK phone. I have an iPhone which is expensive to use over there but is free to surf the web if you lock onto someone%26#39;s open wi-fi. I diverted my phone number to the net 10 phone which also works ok. Texts don%26#39;t get diverted though.
I bought 2 net10 phones for $30 each at Walmart in July. They are sold instore.
They come with $30 call time (300 mins) and can be used to call UK landlines, but not UK mobiles. They can call and text US numbers.
They won%26#39;t be sold anywhere on Idrive cheaply so if you want them you will need to go to Walmart. Go to their website and put in the post code form your htoel%26#39;s address for the nearest locations.
Amanx - we were both in Walmart buying net 10 phones in July... spooky...
Can you remember how many service days you get for the 30 bucks?
$30 = 300 minutes and 60 days.
This saved us a fortune on the last holiday as we had to phone hone a lot. we picked ours up from Walmart. walgreens sell the top up cards also (thats how much we used it)
