Christmas Dinner

Hi

Can anyone recommend a restaurant for Christmas Day we do not mind what time we eat. We do not mind how much it costs and I have a 6 year old and a 1 year old. Any advice will be much appreciated as I would like to try and get it booked.

There seem to be lots of recommendations for the Gaylord Palms Christmas Dinner on this forum.

However, if this is out of your budget, I%26#39;m guessing there will be more moderate choices available in the tourist areas of I-Drive, LBV, and Kissimmee.

This is a good question...

I think the Liberty Tree Tavern would be a nice place to spend Christmas. It has family style dinner- all you can eat turkey, ham, dressing,mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, apple cobbler and lots of fixings to go with it. The atmosphere is very homey. It is located in Magic Kingdom, so if you went , you would need to get to the park early, because on Christmas, there is always the chance the park will close due to full capacity. It is one of our favorite restaurants.

I have also heard something about the Peabody Hotel, but have never gone there for Christmas.

I guarantee you all the reservations for Xmas day is already booked solid for Liberty Tree Tavern.

There will be over 75,000 people in Magic Kingdom on Xmas day; why would you want to battle that crowd anyway?

There have been many questions asked about this on this forum, It appears that most of the local restaurants will be closed xmas day. So apart from disney and the tourist areas you wont have alot of choice.

You could try ringing the disney booking line and asking them what still has availability on xmas day..if you choose one in a park you will have to get there early as even with a dinner reservation it does not mean you will get into the park once its reached full campacity. Try the Disney hotels, all hotels have a restaurant that can be booked on the reservations line.

We faced the same delema last Christmas and booked the Christmas Buffet at the Rosen Plaza. Absolutely gorgeous - so much to choose from and everything was beautiful. Room was decorated beautifully. We had 3 children in our party and they enjoyed it too.
