Beach House, Condo or Hotel in ST Pete?

We are planning on visiting St Pete next summer with another family. There will be 4 adults in 30%26#39;s ages range and 3 kids, 12,11,10. What would be the best budget and convenience wise in the St Pete area, beach house, condo, or just get individual hotel rooms? Guess I%26#39;d better mention taht these are very good friends of ours so staying a house or condo together wouldn%26#39;t be uncomfortable or anything. Also, looking at going 2nd week in June, would that be a good time of the summer to go?

June is a great time to visit FL. I suggest getting a condo, either 3 BR or two condos in the same complex. Much better than hotels rooms. You%26#39;ll save money and have more room to spread out, and the use of a kitchen.

There are many, many condo buildings all up and down Gulf Blvd. I%26#39;ve stayed in condos in Redington Beach, north of St. Pete Beach, but we usually stay in a hotel when in St. Pete Beach. Caprice condos (www.capricecondos.com) are newer and get good reviews. You may want to check them out.

go to vrbo.com and you can do a search of condos and houses in the area that are for rent.

this is a site where people that own condos and houses list them for rent and you are renting directly from the owner. shows pics of the units and all info, etc.
