I am planning a trip to the florida keys but I am having a little trouble deciding where. I am looking for some good sandy beaches. I have heard that there are not any ';real'; beaches in the keys; that there is a lot of sand and sea walls. Can anyone recommend a good beach....or at least the best key for beaches? Thanks.

Sombrero Beach in Marathon is nice by Keys standards.

Sombrero Beach and Bahia Honda are probably the largest beaches in the upper keys. Key West has one good sized beach but it%26#39;s usually very crowded. Most resorts have their own small man made beach. There are just not miles of beaches like the west coast of Florida. The beautiful blue water makes up for the lack of beach property.
