Hello All,
We%26#39;ll be getting married in Islamorada at the end of January and are looking for a *free* site to have the small ceremony on. If not free, $100 at the most is all we can afford. There will be approx 30-35 ppl there.
Can anyone make any suggestions?
Thank you!
Free Wedding Site? Not sure, but maybe founders park. We were married at Kon Tiki, and because we were all staying there we weren%26#39;t charged a fee.
Islamorada is a tricky place for that as there really isn%26#39;t public land like other places. I%26#39;m not sure on this one either, but in Marathon is Sombrero Beach, I don%26#39;t think they charge there - but I could be wrong.
Free Wedding Site?Have you already booked your place to stay? I think Bayside Inn Key Largo will let you use the site if you stay there otherwise i think there is a fee. Do you already have your officiant, wedding photographer etc? flowers or just not doing that sort of thing? Are the people going to stand for the ceremony or are you hooking up with chairs for them? Just some few things to think about. Good Luck and Congrats on your engagement
Access to Founders Park is US 5.00 per person, US 3 for seniors and children - unless you have a complimentary visitors pass e.g. from your hotel.
It%26#39;s a nice place with a small, well kept beach.
sorry I didnt know they had an entrance fee. I had read in a different post that it was free.
Information we got last year was that there was an entrance fee to Founder%26#39;s Park only on weekends. Weekdays were free.
