wedding planners?

arrggg. I%26#39;ve been calling all over Fort Lauderdale trying to get information on wedding locations (prices, details, etc.) I have had some luck, but I%26#39;ve left messages at many hotels and yacht charters and people aren%26#39;t calling me back!! I%26#39;m so frustrated already with trying to plan a wedding all the way from Colorado, so I%26#39;m ready to talk to a wedding planner. Any recommendations?

Is she wanting to get married in Fort Lauderdale or perhaps in the Florida Keys. I do know a wedding planner in the keys. Barbara Knowles iweddu@bellsouth.net is her email address. i am sure she will get back with you right away or her phone number is 305-853-5653 I know she coodinates weddings in key west, Key Largo and throughout the keys, and she is licensed. If she cant help you I am sure she will be able to refer you to someone that can. Her and her husband richard are both real nice people. Bayside Inn Key Largo is a great place to get married in the keys if your daughter is considering that. Good Luck

I%26#39;m going to search my business cards and find a wedding planner that a friend of mine used. I was so impressed, I asked for her card. She took care of everything! I%26#39;ll post her info tomorrow (or tonight if I find her card here....although I think I have it at work)

I think we%26#39;re starting to narrow down some options. I did talk to the Riverside Hotel and am impressed with what they can offer us. Since we%26#39;re a small wedding (35ish), I%26#39;m not sure I need a great big ballroom and a dj and 4 hours of open bar. We%26#39;re leaning toward staying at the Riverside, getting married onsite at the hotel, and then having dinner in the Atrium at the Grille Room. Our biggest question: Is it a kid friendly hotel and a kid friendly part of town?

The other one that stands out is the Embassy Suites because their prices are VERY reasonable compared to some of the others. However, from the pictures I%26#39;ve seen, the location doesn%26#39;t seem that great and the views are of ugly smoke stacks.

I%26#39;ve also left a message at the Maxwell Room and the River House, but right now the Riverside Hotel is at the top of the list!
