Veteran of KW but never been there on New Years Eve!can%26#39;t wait to be down there this year!
Do you think dinner reservations are a necessity..and is anybody aware of any package deals or specials for NY Eve that could be booked in advance.
Not looking for fancy..just KW Style!!!
New Year's Eve Dinner
Are you Buffettguy%26#39;s father? lol
NYE here is nuts. I%26#39;d strongly recommend you avoid, at all costs, the corners of Greene and Duval.
Pick your favorite place and give them a call. They should be able to set you up. For recommendations... The usual suspects: 915, Square One, Croussants de France (They do dinners now), Micheals, Hot Tin Roof, Martins... Go for it!!
New Year's Eve Dinner
Jimmy! You finally decided to join us. I didn%26#39;t know you live in Illinois now! But welcome.
New Years Eve is THE busiest day of the year. Everything will be packed. By all means make a reservation if there is some specific place you want to eat, or you might be out of luck.
I haven%26#39;t seen any of the packages for NYE, but there will be some. They are mostly high priced and fancy. Sometimes there are two seatings. The earlier one being less expensive and the later one with champagne and party favors. That%26#39;s just not my style, so if I was a tourist, I would save a fancy dinner for another night, and go to one of the casual restaurants, that may not require a reservation. Then I would head down to the Schooner Wharf Bar or a place nearby and enjoy the festivities at the Bight.
Limey
My husband and I will be in KW for the first time during New Year%26#39;s. I made reservations several weeks ago at La Trattoria. We are planning for a nice dinner and then be out about for the fun. We enjoy having a nice meal for our last meal of the year. Have a great time.
I would suspect you will see menus for New Years chortly after Thanksgiving. In the past we have enjoyed dinners at Michaels, Square One, A%26amp;B Lobster House, and 915. All were really good but I think 915 and Michaels were our favorite.
That would be ';shortly';, lol.
