Night out in orlando

Hi everyone ,

Going to orlando/disney next year and will be my birthday whilst there. Any ideas for a top night out? what are the night clubs like and are they safe? 4 girls aged between 26-30??

I would say any Disney Pleasure Island or Universal City Walk are probably ';safe'; lol, but can be pricey. Of course, they%26#39;re Disney and Universal so you can probably guess there. There is a Blue Martini at Mall of Millenia, which is also ';safe'; they have some really pricey martini%26#39;s, but I heard it varies and it%26#39;s got a great atmosphere. Anything downtown Orlando (see Church St. and surrounding area) - as a local, I don%26#39;t feel unsafe there. Orlando is kind of an easy town, it%26#39;s not like New York or LA or something. You can pretty much just stroll around downtown and see what fits your fancy. But we do have homeless like any other city and panhandling is illegal, so don%26#39;t give them any money, and of course always be safe by staying in groups and using street smarts. But I personally don%26#39;t feel there is anything to worry about.

Pleasure Island will be closing on Sept 28. CityWalk or downtown Orlando are the best places to go as you can bar/club hop. Thornton Park area of downtown is very trendy and a great place to start as you can grab something to eat then hit the clubs. Both areas are safe...CityWalk obviously much more touristy than downtown.
