Hi--What is the best,most reliable,knowlegable and affordable way to book a complete DisneyWorld vacation--online or through a reliable travel agent%26#39;s office? Interested in getting the best package deal for a deluxe resort (GF,BCH Club,Animal K Lodge)with basic dining plan,character meals including the highly desired castle,hoppers for parks and water parks,rental car,maybe air from NYC for Aug.2009. Want to go during free dining offer.Have daughters ages 7 and 16.Booking online ok but want to be sure it is safe,reputable,experienced and there to speak to you to with questions,problems,handle all aspects of trip including dining reservations
Does a travel agency get better deals,give better service,cost more etc? I normally use a travel agency office and they take care of all but unsure if this is just not necessary and too expensive when I could get great service and better pricing elsewhere.Help!

Disney doesn%26#39;t usually offer free dining during August-that is a busy time ,they usually offer it in September which is slower. The intent is to fill hotel rooms.I think given that you want someone to handle all the aspects of your trip-use a travel agent. Just making the dining reservations is time consuming let alone getting the best deal.
Our favorite resort is the AKL but the Grand Floridian is nice too

Hi DivaKitty - After exhausting research we have found the booking thru AAA has been the most discounted. We always make changes since we book 8 - 10 months out and for each change we make we do receive a new confirmation from them.
We stayed at the Beach Club in July 2008. This is a great place for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. (walk or boat). Besides EPCOT dining options there are several restaurants in this Boardwalk area. GF is great for the Magic Kingdom and the monorail.
For us, the planning is half of the excitement!
