checking in with virgin at Down Town Disney.

We did the downtown check in last year and it was $10 each the only ones who got it free were those not using economy!! seems a bit cheeky but did cut down the hassle at the airport....laura

Hi there .. we also fly with virgin and I have just checked their website, they are stating it%26#39;s free for virgin customers but I also read somewhere it was approx $10 per person so not exactly sure what the poicy is .....

I belive if you are on a Virgin package holiday, then DTD check in is free.

If you are just flying with Virgin then you have to pay.

HI

we Went with virgin last march and also read that they charge, but when tickets arrived there were two downtown disney check in vouchers. So hopefully its still free .

If you have booked a package with Virgin Holidays then it is free. If you have booked flights only with Virgin Atlantic then you pay.

Thanks for info as was little confusing, we%26#39;ve booked package so should get vouchers to check in when tickets arrive - brill

thanks for the info....hopefully then mine should be free, like i said it used to be, but these days everythings going up and were the ones paying!

fingers crossed!

ps have to say though it was a fab service, getting rid of your cases for the day and then being able to spend it at DTD... I love the rainforest cafe and the big xmas shop.... whoooooo x

Could you tell me more about this please is DTD a ticket entry place? I am flying with Virgin but would like to check-in elswhere and spend as much time as possible enjoying Orlando and not stuck at the airport.

Thanks

Y

PS In Antigua last year we were checked in at the hotel by Virgin and didn%26#39;t see our cases till we got back to Gatwick. The look on the BA passengers faces..........priceless

yorsoul - its a check in check at DTD, right near Cirque de Soleil, its a service Virgin offers its passengers to enable them to bascially check in at get rid of their luggage between 8 am and midday on the day of your departure. Think most UK flights leave late afternoon/early evening - and as most check outs in hotels are 10am or midday, its convenient, you dont have to carry your luggage round all day, or leave it in the boot of your car.

... sorry, first bit didnt make sense, ignore one of the check words in first sentence .....

No DTD is not a ticket entry place, free for anyone to enter the area.
