Vista Cay help!

after losing my holiday with Tarvel city direct I am looking to book again with someone else. I am looking at Vista Cay.

Has anyone been and has anyone satyed in the 3 bedroom condos or townhouses. Someone is ofering me a townhouse but want to know if it is worth it over a condo?

also we always travel by i troley etc so will we be ok there?

hi pinkbambi - i stayed at Vista Cay in August in a 3 bed condo.

Vista Cay is lovely, the condo was spotlessly clean and had every thing you could wish for and for (had more kitchen utensils than i have at home), also huge american fridge with ice maker, coffee maker, blender, and sink waste disposal.

Our management company were in a townhouse and it was significantly bigger than our 3 bed condo, but there were 4 of us in a 3 bed condo, and had more than enough room.

The town houses are huge and obviously a lot more spacious, spread out over 3 floors.

But, i would recommend a car a Vista Cay, you would have to walk right up past the convention centre and to, i think, the Castle Hotel, before the I Trolley starts, its quite a walk, and i wouldnt fancy doing it. Location wise for us, with a car, couldnt fault it, it was 5 minutes to I Drive, 5-10 to Universal and 15-20 minutes to Disney. I would definitely recommend Vista Cay.

There is, however a huge Publix right next door to Vista Cay which is fantastic.

We had a 2 bed booked at Vista Cay with TCD, the 3 bed townhouse was the same price but the floorplan would not have worked for us. The third bedroom is on the %26#39;ground%26#39; floor, the other beds 2 floors above, we wouldn%26#39;t feel comfortable with either of our children that far away, especially as one sleepwalks! Vista Cay is, I%26#39;d guess, about a 15-20 minute walk across to I-Drive by the shortest route. And, on I-Drive there are plenty of bus choices, as well as the (pretty useless) I-Ride Trolley.

Also, at the time of writing, there is a LYNX bus service right on Universal Blvd outside Vista Cay. This is a shuttle that runs across to I-Drive only, where you%26#39;d need to transfer to other services to go anywhere useful.
