Need new accommodation

Well we were booked 12n Vista Cay 2n Royal Pacific. Can%26#39;t afford now we%26#39;re not going TCD. Since looked at Rosen Plaza, Renaissance at Seaworld and Springhill at Marriott Village, these are all coming in at around 拢600 less and closer to the original price. What%26#39;s the standard like at these?

Did you try booking Vista Cay directly from an owner? It might work out cheaper that way.

You can find some listings on VRBO:

The SpringHill Suites at Marriott Village is very nice. I have stayed there several times.

We booked Vista Cay with Destination America for 50 pounds per night or a party of 7,so 7 pounds pppn.Don%26#39;t know how many are in your party but maybe worth checking out ?

The Vista Cay owners also have this site

www.vistacayrent.com

It%26#39;s similar to the Windsor Hills website since they were built by the same builder.

TheEdwards, sorry to hear you have to change your plans - try Kenwoodtravel.co.uk, we booked Vista Cay through them, got a really good deal (been and gone already).

Dawn - we read your threads before, checked out the price at Kenwood yesterday, is the price quoted on t%26#39;internet what you actually paid? If it is we%26#39;re definitely going with them - very good price. Only a few 拢 different from TCD, Floridays with them was 拢300 cheaper, we may even go there, originally we were stuck between the two, TCD had them at the same 拢.

Sorry, just sent you a PM,before i read this - so please ignore that now .

Yes the price on the net was the price we paid, after we booked we debated whether we should have booked Floridays too, i%26#39;ve heard very good things about Floridays too.

Vista Cay is lovely but if you want something to do onsite go to Floridays, apart from a vending machine next to the pool there is nothing there, which wasnt a problem for us, the accommodation was too good to worry about that, but it would have been nice to have been able to walk over to a bar/restaurant which we didnt have the option of.

We drove past Floridays, which is alot further down I Drive than we thought it would be, but still quite central to everything.

Cant recommend Kenwood travel even though they are based in London, we didnt once have to go to their office (my OH works round the corner from their office so thought if need be he could pop there if any problems). I telephoned them to ask a couple of questions about Vista Cay and the girl i spoke to had actually been to Vista Cay so she knew what she was selling. Very happy indeed with their customer service, they actually send out the disney/orlando tickets, not vouchers.

Just came back Thursday from Cypress Pointe Grande Villas LBV - great suite with balcony and full kitchen (2 bed) for 拢600 with Travel Republic (check out Travlesupermarket.com). Location was great - numerous restaurants within walking distance, walkable to Dowtown Disney (about 25 mins - we done it several times their and back ), Lynx bus to Seaworld and then I trolley up and down I-Drive. Couldnt fault the place at all!

This is my fourth time in Orlando and this was by far the best value I have had - in fact - I doubt that it can be beaten for the size, location and standard of accomodation at that price! Ii is not as new as others you are mentioning but I%26#39;ll bet it is alot cheaper.

I am sat in the apartment in Floridays now and can honestly say it is a great place to stay. This is our second time here and we will be back again.

Right off to look up info on crowds for today as we are having a family dispute about where is best to go on a saturday!!!! Then its off in to the sunshine.
