Difference between two beach areas....

Most of you TA regulars know we stayed at Holiday Isle and we just LOVED it!!! Where is Crystal Beach located in relation to Holiday Isle?

What is Crystal Beach like in comparision to Holiday Isle and the beach in front of the Islander? We enjoyed the beach in front of the Islander!!

Crystal Beach - Miramar Beach is located EAST of Henderson State Park (To the right on the map) to where you see the Yellow Highway, Emerald Coast Pkwy meet with the small beach road. (It takes a southern dive right before there).

The beaches go from east to west, Crystal Beach, Destiny then Miramar Beach. This area, on the whole, is more low rise as well.

The beaches are much larger in this area. We had our beaches renourished a year or so ago, they added a hundred feet of sand. Also, in my opinion, less crowded.

A followup to what semco said above. If you haven%26#39;t already, download the free version of GoogleEarth, plug in the address for the Islander, then work your way east. The satellite photos are updated every few years, so never asume they are up to date, re current beach conditions, etc.

Just saw your replies. I understand how its laid out now and how there would be more beach area there.

Like semco mentioned, there is height restrictions for the Crystal Beach area (4 stories) so the density of rental properties ( or residences for that matter) is much less there!

Close to everything, and less crowded??? how could you ask for more?
