I usually stay at The Palms and like it a lot. We love the gulf front units and the fact they have 2 bathrooms. I also like the roomy balconies. Anyway, we are thinking of staying at Beachside Condos as the Palms is booked for our dates. I read something about the AC being on the balcony. Anyone know if they have been moved? I don%26#39;t care about the pool as we are going out of season. The units look nice through Garrett. Any insight would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Beachside Condos?
I%26#39;ve stayed at Beachside Condos before (the gulf-front units)and I sure don%26#39;t remember the AC ever being on the balconies. Have you looked at VRBO? They%26#39;ve got some units there too that look like they were part of the remodel from not too long ago. Beachside is an older complex, you can always tell them because like The Palms, they usually only have the one bedroom w/ hall bunks.
I wish Seagrove would get some new construction going that caters to couples and small families so we don%26#39;t always have to stay in the older run-down places.
Beachside Condos?
I called Garrett realty and was informed the units AC is on the balcony. I just don%26#39;t want to listen to the AC while I enjoy the view. I booked The Palms as one came available. I hear Eastern Shores is nice but it%26#39;s a little further down that I would like to be.
SugarNOLA, So glad that you called Garrett about the ac. I had included that in a post last summer (2007) about the ac being on the balconies at Beachside. I too had my eye on those condo%26#39;s. Like you, we have stayed at the Palms and love them!! (especially the 2 bathrooms) Also, I like the fact that the Palms have 2 showers at the top of the steps to rinse off your body and stuff but Beachside only had one. Glad you could get the Palms again!! Have fun! Anita
