4th of July Where to go?

I have just realised that we will be in Orlando on 4th July,having read previous posts i know it will be busy in Orlando and the theme parks but will it be as busy in coastal resorts.We were thinking of Daytona or Cocoa Beach,hope someone can help

4th of July Where to go?

Beaches in Daytona and Cocoa on July 4th will be just as crowded or more so than theme parks in Orlando will be. Traffic will be very bad.

If you plan to go to Discovery Cove during your visit, this would be the ideal day to do that.

If you plan to do much shopping, this would also be the ideal day for that instead of theme parks or beaches.

4th of July Where to go?

Another idea would be to spend the day at one of the springs since it%26#39;s very hot that time of year. You can grill and sit back tubing down the springs. It%26#39;s a fun day.
