Are you talking about the one on Breakers Avenue or the one on North Atlantic Boulevard? If you mean the one on North Atlantic Boulevard it is a renown dump. If you mean the one on Breakers Avenue it is a timeshare establishment which sells rooms and is fine, some floors have been completely renovated and it is a nice place and a good choice.

I%26#39;m struggling to find reviews for the dumpy one at the moment but I know there are some. If the one you are looking at is high rise you wil be fine, if it looks like a motel, it%26#39;s a dump. I%26#39;ll carry on trying to find the reviews and will post a link when I find it.

As Sue has already mentioned, this causes great confusion- here is alink to the page of fairly recent reviews ( newest is from early August) for the BAD one - which is on North Ocean Boulevard.

As you%26#39;ll see in the accompanying picture , it%26#39;s an old motel.

The nice place with the similar name is the one Sue has mentioned on Breakers Ave., which is a time share of apartments, some of which they rent out.

Unfortunately, I am not sure you can always rely on reading the reviews for these two, as I think some folks may get confused and post under the wrong one- some folks have actually shown up at the wrong one and almost checked in.

Definitely avoid the one on North Ocean Drive- not a very nice place and tends to attract a crowd of rather down on their luck types who tend to ';party'; loudly in their rooms-except of course for those who end up there by accident becauase of the name confusion- which is really a shame.

The one on Breakers Ave. is pretty nice I think- they have been refurbishing the rooms there and should be done or pretty close, but if you plan to rent there , I would definitely inquire to be sure you have a redone unit and that there is not current construction near you. When do you plan to come?

No I don%26#39;t know any but can I ask why you are restricting yourself to that particular hotel/motel? If you want good budget choices we have a bag full available and if you want the best budget suggestion in Fort Lauderdale look no further than the Cocobelle. I have stayed there twice and have my third stay booked for October and I can confidently say that it will not be the last time I stay there. Let us know your dates and some idea of the area of Fort Lauderdale you are looking at.
