We go to Orlando on 21st October and i have purchased the 14 day ultimate tickets for Disney. Is it possible to purchase a ticket for 1 day for Islands of adventure which will also allow entry into Universal studios on the same day or are you limited to the 1 park you purchase the ticket for? If so what sort of price will it be to buy them over there? We have previously been to these parks so don%26#39;t want to buy the flexi ticket again. I have also already brought the Seaworld and Aquatica 14 day ticket.
Thanks, Catherine
Universal 1 day tickets??You can get a 2 Park-1 day ticket.
The best deals tend to be from Universal.com website.
Universal 1 day tickets??That%26#39;s right; they do sell a 1-day/2-park ticket at Universal. It will run you about $80-$95 dollars depending on what deal they are running at the time you book, and they are constantly changing their prices and offers.
Just be advised you cannot see both parks completely on one day in October due to the early closing times. Even if you have Express Passes for front of the line access, it%26#39;s very difficult to do both parks entirely.
You can also purchase tickets for Universal prior to your arrival by going to www.kgstickets.com
They are a full Guest Service company and also offer free delivery to your Disney area vacation home with any order over $500.
Good luck and have a great vacation.
We did the 2 parks one day ticket in Feb. (early closing times, off season). We did get the express pass. We got to Universal IOA at opening and got through the park by 12 noon. One thing- we did not do 2 of the largest coasters because kids didn%26#39;t want to. Walked over to Universal Studios and did quite a lot there, all the rides, several of the shows (did not do all the shows) and then let the kids play at Curious George waterpark for about an hour, walked out at 6 as they were closing. We did everything we wanted to do. You can%26#39;t see all the shows at universal in half a day but you can definitely hit all the high points, I reccomend IOA first and get there at the opening of the park.
Just a suggestion....I bought a 1 day universal ticket. Went there on Sept. 17th. They were having power troubles. Simpson ride was down. Terminator show was down. Twister ride was down, as was a make-up show we were going to see and several of the restaurants. We did get money back after standing in line and arguing with someone there for several minutes. After all of it I wish I had gotten a pass to go on another day and/or scheduled another day in case something like that happened.
We just bought 2 park unlimited access tickets for universal/islands of adventure, they are valid for 7 full days from 1st day of use. Bought them by calling universal ticket reservations they cost $94.99 each. One day is never enough in universal/IOA!
