Safe stay on the Florida Gulf Coast

Hope I can get your advice. I%26#39;m flying into Sarasota for a 4 day trip. I%26#39;ll end up driving to Tarpon Springs for one day during the stay.

What is the safest area to stay in for about three days? It will be my teenage daughter and I on our own this time.

Some place near beach and walkable too. I%26#39;d like to pick a hotel either Clearwater, St. Pete, or Tampa.

Any advice?

Any place along the Clearwater / St. Pete beaches would be good choice.

Might want to look at Tradewinds Resort on St. Pete Beach. The Sheraton Sand Key which is up near Clearwater Beach would be a great choice as well. Sand Key is about 25-30 minutes from Tarpon Springs. Only hotel in Tampa I would stay at is the Hyatt Westshore or Renaissance at International Mall, but you should stay over on the beach if you can.

Did you mean that you want to stay in Clearwater, St. Pete, or Tampa and drive to Sarasota for each of the days you have to be there? Or after your stint in Sarasota you want to stay in Clearwater for a further 3 days?
