Cayo Costa & Dolphin Cruises

My husband and I will be leaving for Sanibel tomorrow and were wondering if going to Cayo Costa was a good idea? We are also interested in possibly taking a Dolphin cruise. Does anyone have any suggestions for tour companies?

Also, how%26#39;s the shelling?

Thanks,

Louise

Cayo Costa %26amp; Dolphin Cruises

I would just go on the one cruise to Cayo Costa. You will see your Dolphins on that cruise as well, so no need to do the Dolphin one, unless you just really like cruises! CaptivaCruises.com is the company to use.

Have a great trip!!

Cayo Costa %26amp; Dolphin Cruises

My husband and I did our first Captiva Cruise to Cabbage Key back in June and saw many, many dophins, both going out and back. It was so much fun watching them play and jump in the waves.

Enjoy your time in Sanibel!

I love captiva cruises! Go on the first shelling cruise in the morning. Also, Adventures in Paradise has a 6 hour cruise to North Captiva - leaves from Ft Myers, (just over the bridge) boat up Pine Sound to N. Captiva on the gulf side. Great shelling and also takes you to lunch at Barnacles Phil%26#39;s.

Thanks for all the info.

How%26#39;s the shelling now?

I feel like the Disney commercial with the little boy that%26#39;s too excited to sleep.

Leaving Denver at 6:30 tomorrow morning!

Enjoy and we all can relate to how you feel!

Take me with you! I leave from Denver too.. Just curious, what airline are you flying with, and did you get a good rate. I am bummed Frontier no longer flies to RSW.

We are flying on US Airways-Denver to Charlotte and Charlotte to Ft Myers. We bought out tickets in April and paid $342 each, which included the tax.

Thanks, that sounds about average. I miss not being able to fly direct. Have a great trip, the long day getting there is worth it. Post a trip report upon your return!
