Should I lie?

My daughter has just turned 10, when making ADRs I was asked the kids ages, at the time I didnt realise she would be considered an adult and told the truth about her age.I am booking some buffet style meals today ,could I tell a little lie say she%26#39;s 9 and not get caught out? Will they have made a note of her age last time I called ?Do they ask for ages at the restaurants when you get there?

Should I lie?

I was honnest with my daughter, she was 10 on our last trip, my bigger but younger boy was 9 so therefore still counted as a child. Staff often raised their eyebrows at the turnstile when it asked for her fingerprint ';Is she an adult?'; ';Yes'; ';what about him is he an adult?'; ';No'; are you sure';.

I really wished that i had saved myself the money and not bothered

I would say if she has just turned 10 and is not big for her age it is worth risking it.

Should I lie?

She is quite tall for her age,we have bought adult park tickets for her its really only eating in the restaurants I%26#39;m considering .

This topic has come up again and again....here%26#39;s my take...why not just be truthful...if she is 10, she%26#39;s 10! I know some people would disagree, but I consider lying about your child%26#39;s age to get cheaper rates ';theft of services';. Besides, what are you teaching your kid? It doesn%26#39;t matter that Disney is one of America%26#39;s mega-corporations and ';can afford to give up a lower price';. It doesn%26#39;t take away from the fact that it is indeed, stealing.

No of course you should not lie whatever they made a note of-what are you teaching your child-that stealing is just fine?A little lie is still a lie.

Fair point, chances are the 6 year old would announce her sister%26#39;s real age to the whole world if I did%26#39;nt tell the truth anyway.

A lie is a lie, little innocent ones aren%26#39;t any less of a lie than the big ones.

I would be more concerned about the little girl. I would not stress a child by asking them to lie. So much easier to ';let it be';...also less stuff to remember,if you know what I mean.

benny- Since you already made some reservations with her being 10, they probably have a way to link the reservations and know if the same person. I am sure the database has a number they use. We book 2 rooms, they use the phone number. You give the phone number and both rooms would show up. I think they did one as A and the other as B. One room was in my name, one in husbands.

I would not take the chance.

Good Luck in your decision.

You%26#39;ll all be glad to hear I did the decent thing and told the truth when I booked my final ADRs today.Have to say being honest is going to work out expensive though!

Hi Benny..Yeah it will cost more, but I guarantee you%26#39;ll be more relaxed. Have a fabulous time!!
