villa location help please!!

hi everybody,

we are making our 1st trip to orlando over xmas and new year (myself, wife and 15 yo son).

a while ago we put a deposit on a villa at sunrise lakes on US27.

i am now wondering if we would be better off being around the kissimmee area chatham park, montego bay areas maybe. obviously being our 1st time, we want it to be as stress-less as possible and thought maybe it wouldbe easier to get to the parks other than disney from this area.

it will now cost us about 拢450 more to do this, just hoped you would all have some thoughts on whether it was worth doing this.

thanks in advance

Your other choices would be a bit nearer but not worth 拢450, IMO. Obviously personal choice but the driving is very easy and you will pass plenty of nice eateries on way to parks.

Hiya, I would not bother making this change for this cost. Like previous post, driving and navigating to all of the parks is fine. All parks are signposted from I4.

Sunrise is minutes from Champions Gate which is where we stay, good location for eating out and good grocerey shopping if required.

My thoughts only of course...save your money and spend it there.

I%26#39;m not familiar with what the community has to offer but the location is ok.

Not worth spending any extra money to move closer.

You%26#39;re right by the 192. Ok it gets a bit congested with the traffic lights but you%26#39;ll have no problem stopping off for somewhere to eat any time.

Check on Google Earth as to location if you have enough details to do so.

拢450 is an awful amount of money extra to shell out and maybe you will have to get out of bed 15 minutes earlier and spend few extra dollars in fuel but unless there are serious problems with the accommodation then you would be best to stay put.

Maybe more of the worry is the time of year your going (you are very brave to be going then) due to it being the BUSIEST time of the year at the parks so dont expect to get loads done in the day as you will not.

We went Spring break by accident a couple of years ago ( after making sure that there were not any bank holiday breaks during out stay) and this is only the third of fourth busiest time and we swore to ourselves then that we would never do it again then.

Sunrise Lakes is just north of the 192 on 27 and is about 15mins to Disney I would imagine-maybe a little longer seeing as you are going at Xmas and everywhere will be busy.

To get to Disney and other parks you can use 429 and/or Sherberth and osecola parkway.

It is close to local shops and not far from a super walmart

I wouldn%26#39;t spend the extra money on moving as you are already in a good spot

Here is a map to show you the area. Sunrise Lakes is #95. You can also access the 429 toll road around Orange Lake on 192 and go into Disney from the west side. I think it%26#39;s the first exit after you get on 429 heading north. There%26#39;s a $1. toll.
